Arbaaz Khan To Turn Director For Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 ? Arbaaz confirmed that while Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha will be very much a part of the project, there might be another leading lady in the film By Koimoi.com Team -April 11, 2017 Arbaaz Khan might don the director’s hat for the third installment of Salman Khan’s super-hit Dabangg franchise. The actor, who previously helmed Dabangg 2, has hinted that he might turn director for Dabangg 3 too! In an interview with a leading daily, the Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai actor said that he is still contemplating on whether to direct Dabangg 3 or not but there is a possibility that he’ll do it. He further said that if he feels comfortable, if he feels there is not too much pressure of directing, producing and handling Salman, apart from acting in the film, he might as well consider directing the film. That’s not the only surprise coming from Arbaaz. He has further confirmed that while Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha will be very much a part of the project, there might be another leading lady in the film. This means Salman will have to handle two heroines in the film! However, he has refused to divulge the name of the second actress, saying it has not yet been finalised. However, he informed that his alleged estranged wife Malaika Arora might be roped in for a small role in the film. Arbaaz Khan was last seen in Keshhav Panneriy’s Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai alongside Ashutosh Rana, Himansh Kohli, Supriya Pathak, Manjari Fadnis, Rati Agnihotri and Prem Chopra. The film, which released on 3rd March opened to poor reviews from critics and failed to leave an impact at the box office. He will next be seen opposite B-Town hottie Sunny Leone in Raajeev Walia’s romantic drama Tera Intezaar. Salman Khan, on the other hand, is presently busy shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. This movie is the second instalment in the Tiger franchise which stars Katrina Kaif in the female lead. Salman will next be seen in Tubelight, which is his third collaboration with his close friend Kabir Khan. Tubelight is a historical war drama film, which marks the Bollywood debut of Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and also stars the late actor Om Puri. The movie features Shah Rukh Khan in a small cameo. www.koimoi.com/bollywood-news/arbaaz-khan-to-turn-director-for-salman-khans-dabangg-3/

Not Arbaaz Khan! Salman Is In Hunt For A ‘Good Director’ For Dabangg 3 By Koimoi.com Team -June 14, 2017 Bollywood superstar Salman Khan says his brother Arbaaz does not want to direct Dabangg 3, and that they will find a “good director” for it. Salman and his other brother Sohail have been busy promoting their forthcoming film “Tubelight“. While Sohail has directed Salman in films like “Auzaar“, “Jai Ho“, “Hello Brother” and “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya“, Arbaaz has directed Salman in only one movie “Dabangg 2“. During a media interaction on Tuesday, when Salman was asked about his favourite director among the two, he said: “Since Arbaaz doesn’t want to direct, I feel Sohail is a better director because he is more patient and with Sohail, you can improvise on things but in a similar situation, Arbaaz gets panicked and his blood pressure starts to fluctuate.” “Now we are going to start ‘Dabangg 3‘, so he (Arbaaz) told me ‘Very good, but I am not going to direct it and I am only producing it’. So I said, ‘Very good, we will find a good director for that’.” Talking about the process of choosing his films, Salman said: “I feel that when you listen to a script and if you are not able to see yourself in that space, then ideally no matter how beautiful the script is you should not do it, or then you have to work that hard to visually see yourself in the movie.” “Whenever a filmmaker approaches me with a script, first thing is that, I need to see myself doing it and till the time it doesn’t happen, I don’t sign a movie. When Kabir Khan came to me with the script of ‘Tubelight‘, I gradually started looking myself in that character.” He also spoke about the India and China war backdrop which has been shown in the film. “We have just used it as a backdrop. In this film, we have shown that war should end as soon as possible so that soldiers from both countries could return to their homes because whenever war happens, soldiers on both sides die and their kids or parents live their whole life without them.” “Tubelight” is releasing on June 23. www.koimoi.com/bollywood-news/not-arbaaz-khan-salman-is-in-hunt-for-a-good-director-for-dabangg-3/

Salman Khan asks Prabhu Dheva to direct Dabangg 3 BySubhash K. JhaJul 11, 2017 - 10:42 am IST It’s final. Prabhu Dheva will direct the third instalment of the Salman Khan’s loopy lawmaker Chulbul Pandey’s wacky exploits. The decision to not let Arbaaz Khan direct Dabangg 3 was taken by Arbaaz himself. Says a source close to Salman, “Arbaaz wiped his hands off the franchise after directing the second instalment. In fact he was not supposed to direct the second Dabangg film either. Arbaaz came on board only after there was a fall-out with the original director Abhinav Kashyap.” Salman Khan has now asked his old friend Prabhudheva to step in as the director of Dabangg 3. Prabhu Dheva fits the Dabangg bill on several counts. Salman and Prabhu go back a long way. In 2008, Prabhu directed Salman’s comeback film Wanted after a spate of flops. Also, Prabhu Dheva understands the zany mood of Dabangg better than any director. Says Prabhu, “I will do any film that Salman Sir asks me to. Nobody says no to him.” www.bollywoodhungama.com/news/bollywood/salman-khan-asks-prabhu-dheva-direct-dabangg-3/

No one else will play Rajjo, even if it means me being a photo on the wall. Dabangg made me who I am today. I’m always there for that franchise. I am grateful to him for showing me the path and whatever I am today is because of Dabangg and because of the faith he showed in me.” Arbaaz Khan, who produced Dabangg series, earlier has said that he has started scripting the new sequel of the franchise that will go on the floor in the middle of 2018. “Yes, we have started scripting the film and I think we will start shooting ‘Dabangg 3‘ by the middle of the next year,” the actor-filmmaker told at an event recently. On being asked about whether he is thinking to cast Sunny Leone for a recreation of Munni Badnaam, he said: “Yes, why not? Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 to commence in April; will release in December 2018 By Bollywood Hungama News Network Jan 20, 2018 - 5:16 pm IST Back in 2010 we saw the release of the Salmna Khan starrer Dabangg, two years later the sequel to the film Dabangg 2 hit screens in 2012. Now years on, we finally hear that Salman Khan is all set to commence work on the third instalment of the film Dabangg 3. As per reports, Dabangg 3 is all set to go on floors in April this year, with an official announcement on the film that will happen in the next couple of weeks. Though details of the story line of Dabangg 3 are still unknown, we are told that the film, like the previous two will feature Salman Khan in his action packed role as the cop Chulbul Pandey. However, another interesting part about Dabangg 3 that we managed to glean was that, while the film will go on floors in April, it is being readied to release later this year in December. If the makers of Dabangg 3 do manage to complete the film in time, the Salman Khan starrer will in all likelihood clash with any one of the other big releases slated for a December 2018 release. As of now, all that remains to be seen, is which date Salman Khan locks for the release of Dabangg 3. As it currently stands, Ajay Devgn’s Total Dhamaal is slated for release on December 7, followed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero that will hit screens on December 21 and Ranveer Singh’s Simmba that is scheduled to release on December 28 release. www.bollywoodhungama.com/news/bollywood/salman-khans-dabangg-3-commence-april-will-release-december-2018/

This is when Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 3' will go on floors Salman Khan’s last release ‘Race 3’ has already entered the 200-crore club at the box office and fans have loved the fast-paced action thriller. While he will be soon starting to shoot Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’ opposite Priyanka Chopra, his next project ‘Dabangg 3’ will also be taking off soon. As per latest reports, the movie goes on floors on September 16th, this year. Helmed by Prabhudheva, the movie is inspired by a real-life cop from Noida. In fact, the movie will reportedly be shot in the NCR, which will be the first time where the ‘Dabangg’ franchise is shot in North India. A source close to the development revealed to a daily that the idea is to make ‘Dabangg 3’ more realistic and take it a few notches above the previous installments in every possible way. Since the story is based on a real cop, the film’s makers felt that shooting in a North Indian city like Ghaziabad would add to the storytelling. Moreover, the city is being treated like a character in the movie. While the previous films in the franchise have been shot in Wai, shooting in Ghaziabad will also give the third outing a different and fresh look. Reports claim that Sonakshi Sinha will be reprising her role as Rajjo and ‘Dabangg 3’ may also mark ace filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Ashwami Manjrekar's Bollywood debut. Makers are planning to cast a fresh face to play the antagonist, though reports suggest that Salman's ‘Race 3’ co-star Saqib Saleem is being considered for the role. ‘Dabangg 3’ is slated for a release towards the end of 2019. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/photo-features/bollywood-sequels-to-look-forward-to/this-is-when-salman-khans-dabangg-3-will-go-on-floors/photostory/64759484.cms

BREAKING: Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3 to release in Christmas 2019 By Bollywood Hungama News Network Sep 15, 2018 - 1:42 pm IST Whoa! Looks like Salman Khan has decided to deviate from his lucky Eid release slot for Dabangg 3. The film, which is expected to go on floor in December this year, will mark the return of the onscreen couple, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in their respective roles as cop Chulbul Pandey and his wife Rajjo. And now latest update on that front is that the release date for Dabangg 3 has been locked as Christmas 2019. Interestingly, Dabangg 2, that released six years ago, also released during Christmas in 2012. On the other hand, the first part of this Chulbul Pandey series however had hit the big screens in September. Coming to the third instalment of Dabangg, it was recently announced by the film’s lead actors Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha who shared about the news on social media. They also posted pictures which marked their reunion along with the team of Dabangg which included actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar, who played the role of Sonakshi’s father in the film and music director duo Sajid-Wajid. If earlier reports were to be believed, Dabangg 3 is expected to be directed by Prabhu Dheva, who is new to the franchise. Sources close to the development have stated in reports that by the end of this year, Salman Khan will start work on the film, even though he will also be shooting for Bharat. It seems that the actor will shoot for Dabangg as well as the Ali Abbas Zafar film simultaneously. The makers are keen on wrapping up the cop action drama by March reportedly and only after that will Salman start looking into other projects in the pipeline. Produced by Arbaaz Khan Productions, Dabangg 3 is yet to receive a release date. We also hear that the film will be a spin off sorts which will give the fans of the franchise a sneak peek into the early life of Chulbul Pandey before he became Robinhood Pandey. www.bollywoodhungama.com/news/bollywood/breaking-salman-khan-starrer-dabangg-3-release-christmas-2019/

Second one was horrible (first one was at least ok). I hope this flops, Salman needs more wake up calls like Race 3 and shouldn't be rewarded anymore for dumb movies. I'm not expecting a Tere Naam esque movie from him again (back when he experimented, unthinkable today) but at least Bajrangi bhaijaan level stuff would be good.

Tere Naam or Salman's performance in it is nothing special. Maybe for his standards I agree completely but for Salman's standards it was pretty special. Even back then he mostly did trashy movies like those dumb David dhawan comedies and bad action stuff so in comparison Tere Naam looks more unique. Overall his filmography clearly goes the quantity over quality way, unlike SRK or Aamir.

Dabangg 3: Kareena Kapoor Khan Or Malaika Arora? Here’s Who’ll Be Doing An Item Number! With the upcoming part of the franchise which retains Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead, here's who (out of the two mentioned above) will be seen performing an item number this time. By Koimoi.com Team -February 4, 2019 The previous two installments of Salman Khan’s blockbuster – Dabangg has seen Malaika Arora as Munni & Bollywood’s Bebo, Kareena Kapoor Khan, sizzle the dance floor with their best moves. With Dabangg 3 retaining Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead, here’s who (out of the two mentioned above) will be seen performing an item number this time. As per a recent report by Bollywood Hungama, brother Arbaaz Khan who will be directing the film has already approached Kareena for a sizzling item number and the conversation regarding the same is on-going. While the confirmation around the same has not been officially made, Bebo has already given a nod. Meanwhile, the discussion is now revolving around whether to reprise Fevicol Se or to come up with a new number altogether. On the other hand, owing to the recent separation of Malaika Arora & Arbaaz Khan – there were already reports of a cold war between Salman and her. Now it seems to be reflecting quite clearly as Malaika is reportedly not being considered for the project at all. Albeit, both the ladies were extremely gorgeous and totally nailed their moves in their respective songs. While, we’re not sure if we would be able to choose one, if you had a choice, whom would you want to see in the item number in Dabangg 3? Vote now and share your views on the entire saga in the comment section below! www.koimoi.com/bollywood-news/dabangg-3-kareena-kapoor-khan-or-malaika-arora-heres-wholl-be-doing-an-item-number/

WHAT! Dabangg 3 will see Salman Khan in a YOUNGER version and it will be done through CGI just like Bharat! By Bollywood Hungama News Network May 14, 2019 - 11:34 am IST Last year, when Bharat went on floors the makers had asserted that Salman Khan will be seen in different avatars. Since it portrays the journey of a man from his childhood to his old days, the actor had to be showcased in a younger and older version of himself. Keeping in mind the same, the makers made use of CGI and prosthetics for it! Now we hear that Dabangg 3 too will have Salman Khan in a younger version and for it the makers are keen on using CGI yet again. If reports are to be believed, CGI will play an important role in Dabangg 3 during the flashback. Although Dabangg 3 is indeed a part of the earlier released versions, this one reportedly has two different timelines to follow. Reports suggest that the film will constantly shuttle between present times and flashback modes, and that the latter will feature the younger version of Salman Khan. It seems that the third instalment will be giving us a deeper insight on the character of Chulbul Pandey and what inspired him to become a cop. If this is true, then Dabangg 3 is expected to be much grander than the earlier released films as this format will be tried for the first time. Sonakshi Sinha will be seen as the leading lady of the film whereas this time, Dabangg 3 will see Salman reunite with Wanted director Prabhu Dheva for this one. The film went on floors in Indore earlier where the team shot an extensive schedule and we even got glimpses of the same on social media. It is expected to feature Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep as the lead antagonist and also expected to star Mahesh Manjrekar who played the role of Sonakshi’s father in earlier versions. www.bollywoodhungama.com/news/bollywood/dabangg-3-will-see-salman-khan-younger-version-will-done-cgi-just-like-bharat/
