Is it ok to post non-film related translation questions?
I am fighting with exercises from Hindi school books. And I really need help at times to complete the translation, whenever I'm stuck with a word or sentence, and a lot of times I need to know the WHY of a certain translation. Means all these Ke, Ka, Ki, Ko's and other's like that drive me insane, and I have lots of questions on my mind - which need to be explained by someone who is really good with Hindi. If it is not ok to post here, please tell!
Here is my current "problem":
It is a little poem in one of the hindi school books. The red marks I am stuck with.
हम बालक हैं वीर देश के / hum baalak hain vir desh ke / We are the brave country lad (youth)
हम बालक हैं वीर देश के / hum baalak hain vir desh ke / we are the brave country lad (youth)
नहीं रुकेंगे, नहीं शुकेंगे / nahin rukenge, nahin shukenge / not stopped, not bended
बिजली, बादल, आँधी, पानी / bijali, baadal, aandhi, paani / lightning, thunder, hail, water
सभी करें चाहे मनमानी / sabhi karen cahe manmaani,
राह हमारी साफ रहेगी / raha hamaari saap rahengi / Our way will be clear
नहीं डरेंगे, नहीं हटेंगे / nahin tharenge, nahin hattenge / not afraid, not moving
कोई कितना भय दिखलाए / koi kitanaa bhay dikhalae / no matter someone tries to frighten (us)
चाहे जितनी विपदा आए / cahe jitani vipadaa aae /
माता का वरदान लिए हम / maataa kaa vardaan liee hum / For Mother’s blessing we...
अपने को नित अभय करेंगे / apne ko nit abhay karenge / ... will serve fearless
साहस आकर हाथ मिलाए / saahas aakar hath milaae / courage comes and joined hands
शक्ती बाहुओं में भर जाए / Shakti baho mein bhar jaae / stron arms shall (...)
ज्ञान लगेगा हिय से आकर / jnaan lagengaa hiya se aakar / fnowledge will come (…)
मधुर प्यार में स्वयं बहेंगे /badhur pyaar mein svay bahenge / from sweet love (…)
हम बालक हैं वीर देश के / hum baalak hain vir desh ke / we are the brave country lad (youth)
नहीं रुकेंगे, नहीं शुकेंगे / nahin rukenge, nahin shukenge / not stopped, not bended
in Advance
