After the debacle of Imtiaz Ali's directorial, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Shah Rukh Khan's fans have been eagerly waiting for the actor to deliver a hit and win their hearts back. And we feel SRK will surely do so with his upcoming film, Zero, the trailer of which has received positive response already. However, only time will tell if Aanand L Rai's Zero featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will work at the BO or not. Before that, in an interview with Telegraph India, SRK has admitted to letting down people with Jab Harry Met Sejal which starred Anushka Sharma as well.
For the first time, King Khan got candid about the failure of his film and said, "I let people down with Jab Harry Met Sejal, which was an utter flop. But I didn’t want to let anyone down; I just liked the fact that koi story Nahin tTi, Sirf Ek ring Ke Chakkar Mein the two people (SRK’s Harry and Anushka Sharma’s Sejal) Kheechey Chale Jaate Hai. It was very organic, slice-of-life thi. The other day I met a director who mentioned the term ‘slice-of-life’ and I said, ‘nahin, Poora pumpkin do Mujhe Iss Baar."
As per reports, Jab Harry Met Sejal collected approximately Rs 60 crore at the box office. Not only SRK, but even director Imtiaz had admitted that the film did not work well and we are glad that the two got candid about it. Coming to Khan's Zero, it will see the actor playing a dwarf while Katrina Kaif will be seen as his love interest and Anushka Sharma as a scientist. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions, Zero is all set to hit the screens on December 21, 2018.

Indian audience isn't the only one that matters... They matter by far the most. That's why despite JHMS being a hit overseas, it's overall seen as a huge flop for SRK and even he thinks he let down people (the director as well). I Saw you being condescending about them in another thread, not cool.

Ok thanks, I didn't know that since he seems to have disappeared from twitter and nothing was posted here. He does take a lot of chances (more so than any other popular star), especially with movies like Fan, Raees and Zero. I liked the former two but even though I wasn't a fan of the last one I appreciate SRK's performance as Bauua a lot. He gave it his all.

Nothing was posted here probably because few members are more interested in their own suggestions to SRK, go one up against each other, pshyco analysis of SRK etc but less interested in SRK's thought itself. Fair enough..but we didn't really have any thoughts from SRK until this & he only said this not even 2 days ago. Still things went too far here..
