The Slow Interview seemst to be a very interesting one but I can only understand the english parts...
Approximately from the marked time into the interview, Anubhav talks about his collaboration with ShahRukh and also Ra.One.
I would like to know what he says in the Hindi spoken parts.
I found it very interesting that he talks about people celebrating ShahRukh's failures and that at that time he felt an atmosphere of wishing ShahRukh a flop.

Q. How was it working with SRK? A. I would always tell him while making the film that for me, more than the film itself, it's a big deal that I got to know you. I haven't come across a person like him. He is possibly the one star I know the most. It's important for me to keep learning in life, and I learn a lot from him.
Q. Some example? A. Hardwork. Till I met him, I considered myself extremely hardworking. I turned out to be no match. Chivalry. I borrowed this from him. He is extremely chivalrous. Asking their well being, offering food, drinks, escorting them to the car, opening the door. He is relentless. Outstanding. Even if I never get to make another film with him, I would have no qualms as long as I continue to know him.
Whatever happened to Ra.One, so happened. It was a new thing for both SRK and me. There was of course some tension between us. It's normal. Normally relations break if films don't work out. If things go well, then people stick together.
... Then he goes on to talk about his films ...

A. Like in Ra.One, I think it should have been way better. So I feel I betrayed SRK, my son. He loves it, but I wanted him to hear from others. He hears about Mulk, I wanted that to happen regarding Ra.One too. He hears great things from people his age, but not from older ones. That's my betrayal to SRK, my son and everyone who helped me make that film. ENd of the day the onus is on me because I am sitting in that chair. It's a very strange film in my career. Ra.One. The % of people who love it or hate it is 50 - 50. They either love it or hate it with a vengeance. I haven't understood till date. SRK said he made money. Kishore (Lulla from co-producer EROS) says he made money. So going by that logic, the film was a success. 50% liked it, and the producers made money. So it's a success. However there was such negativity around that film in the industry. People wanted SRK to fail once. They desperately wanted him to fail once. I am not sure why. No star is SRK. He can continue to make flops for 15 years and remain the SRK. No one can be like him. It's not to say he isn't talented - we all know he is. It's about the fourth dimension of an actor, which goes beyond logic. So you know some of our actors are not that great, but are huge stars. That's the fourth dimensino of an actor where an actor can reach out of the screen and reach out to the audience. Around that time there was such a negativity, I could feel it. BBM (BlackBerry messages for those who aren't familiar ) messages were venomous. One of SRK's friends - I don't want to name him - wrote on Twitter, "I just heard a 100 crore firecracker go bust". (For the unaware, this "friend" was Shirish Kunder). When you celebrate other people's failures, I find that very strange, especially when they are your "friend"

I did not watch the video beyond 30:00 as the topic seemed to diverge from SRK. I put that together without much thought into the copy, as the video was playing.

agantuk, a big THANK YOU for doing that The english parts, I understood, the Hindi ones, I guessed, but this is reassuring! a question: did Anubhav say, that ShahRukh pressured him into changing things along his own imagination?

clochette, he made no such mention in the first 30 minutes. The only disagreement - if I can call it that - was after the film's release where things may have soured between them.

Thank you again, agantuk I wonder if there is one director who ever complained that ShahRukh has imposed his own vision on him/her...

Directors haven't said that about the other Khan in spite of so many reports of interference. There's hardly been speculation of Red Chillies / SRK meddling outside this forum - oddly enough.
