Back to India. Hopefully the players would have gotten over the nightmare of the super-over loss to RR. CSK is doing great as always. It would be a difficult one. Yeah mentally that really cna't have been easy to deal with. CSK will definitely be tough if they keep up their current form. For once, I'm hoping Brendon Mccullum doesn't do well lol. It might be worth giving Andre Russel or Pat Cummins a go this match. Though I still dont' think Morkel's done bad, but he has been inconsistent and more importantly the others deserve a chance too to see if they can do better.

Dropping Morne Morkel is a big call, especially because he would have been a good bet against Dwayne Smith and Suresh Raina, although for completely different reasons. Pace and a good short ball should be enough to get Raina. And a decent in-swinging full length always troubles Smith. This is a very bold call, let's see how it pans out.
Edit: Comment on Cricinfo
LOL. That is pretty funny. Anyone know more about Kuldeep Yadav?

Why is Pathan back in the side? They give so many chances to Pathan but drop Bisla after one game...

LOL @ Pathan's inclusion. Apologies if this is harsh, but with such stupid movies KKR doesn't deserve to do well. You are going on the field with 10 players. Only win you will get is by some miracle
It will be so embarrassing if Pathan scores a 50 today after the words I have used (but that's what I think everytime, and I haven't been embarrassed yet: ()

Also you meant moves and not movies for sure
Haha. thanks for pointing that out. I just shared my thoughts on Spiderman .. maybe that contributed

Good idea to open the bowling with Narine and get one of the two big wickets early. But not going to plan for KKR here. Narine is leaking runs.

I don't know if I am right or wrong but I notiched that players when leave KKR and go to another teams they perform better??? C.Gayle and B McCullum, yes they had their moments with KKR but not persisted performance as they do now with their new teams.

I suppose if anybody had seen SRK, they would have said so? Yes, I admit, that's the only reason I watch. Sports in general leave me cold. Although I admit the last few overs of a tight game can get pretty exciting! But only if I care about who wins...

Gambhirs bowling selection today has been atrocious. Leaving andre Russell until the end like that . I
honestly what was the point of bringing him in for morkel if you dont use him right.
And giving piyush chawla after being smashed.

Its just all players go through good and bad forms. We have gtsome at bad times. but in this case with mcullum its totally kkrs fault. They should have retained him based on his form for nz in last year. And also cause he did pretty well for kkr itself last time

Kallis gone now. KKR need some Russell magic here to stand a chance. But he has been in awful form with the bat for the West Indies, swiping with his eyes closed to every ball almost. So it will be tough. KKR should have won the game against RR. It is losses like those that put the pressure on games like these against good teams like CSK. Beat the bad teams clearly, so you can take games like these in your stride.

^ It was Gambhir's mistake no it wasn't. It was gambhir s call as theball went bbehind uthappa. If uthappa hadn't been looking in the wrong direction and run he would have made it to the other end

It must hurt every batsman of any decent calibre to give their wickets away to bowlers like Jadeja. LOL.

Meh I thinkbits still uthappa who shouldn't bhave even bothered looking for ball but trusted other player who has seen it and run when the call was made.
but I do admit gambhir perhaps shouldn't have run at all as it was a close one. But once he made the call I think uthappa should have run.
Any way though im glad uthappas doing well. Hope this partnership works out

After a horrible performance with the ball, the chase was always going to be tough. But nice to see Yusuf get back some hitting form. It changes the dynamics of this team, to have an in-form Yusuf. Next match, we need to give Tendo a chance over Russell.

Great owner in the great Srinivasan, good betting men in their camp and an ability to shrug bad news under the carpet and pretend it never happened. Well played CSK!

I don't think Russell really got a fair chance today so wouldn't mind giving him another. He came on too late for both bat and bowl. But also happy with giving tendo one as that's bquite overdue. May be now that uthappa and gambhir are opening we bring in tendo for kallis who hasn't done much last three games. Cause if we don't have kallis as opener not much point I think.
im not getting my hopes up on pathan. This could be another flash in the pan.

Not surprised they lost. Need to go on a big win streak to qualify for the playoffs. They need to win 6 of their next 8 matches to be assured of a place in the top 4. 5 wins from 8 could also be enough.
Worth a shot:
