Team should be Pathan (bat/ball) Uthappa Manish Gambir Lyon Tendo Surya Shakib/ cummins V kumar Narine U yadav
Gambir should use Pathan and tendo as a bawler and should bowl combine 4 overs.

KKR's lost 3 matches in a row chasing so let's hope they get it right this time. It's a must win game.

Solid first 10 overs from KKR. Well played by Uthappa, half century of 39 balls.

So from cruising to the finish line, they've now lost 4 quick wickets. Do KKR always have to make it so difficult for themselves?
Edit: now Pathan's out for a golden duck...they're imploding...

Unbelievable! What an appalling batting display this is. Drop Yusuf from the squad entirely. Enough is enough.

Quite sad to see KKR giving away strong positions so easily. Especially when they are desperate for a win

Ridiculous losing from such a position. Everything was going so well.
The other bad thing is KKR don't have a genuine big hitter, like other teams, that can win games when you're in positions of needing to score at 12+ or so an over towards the end to win.

I have reiterated this point repeatedly since last season
Look at ABD's innings on Sunday. He smoked Steyn (of all the bowlers) for 22 runs and ended the match right there

We only have that useless Pathan lol. Even after the collapse, they still could have won with needing 24 off 12 which was effectively 24 off 14 with 2 free hits thanks to the 2 no balls. Surya messed it up with only 9 from 17.

I think the worst part is we all get hopeful because they play well for a while and then suddenly crush it all. And it's happened what now 3 games I think that we should have won.
I would almost prefer if they played badly teh whole match. This is just heartbreaking to see. It does actually remind of of the 2nd IPl in South AFrica, we lost several matches like that then too i think.
We still technically have a chance in this tournament as it looks like there could be a fight for fourth place, but we really need to win at least 5 out of 7 matches. It can be done, I remember once Hydrabad won 5 in a row at a similar stage in one of the previous IPLs. But we really need to get a grip and our batting needs to improve. Even changing players doesn't seem to be working for us-both Russell and Tendo failed today.
I think we need to play Chris Lynn, it's weird how they dropped him after just two games even though he did so well in one and won us the match. I can understand they want to play Shakib as he's mostly done well too. But I would definitely bring Lynn in instead of Russell.
Tendo probably give another chance to, but otherwise I think bring back Morkel, his bowling is looking much better in comparison to others now. Or give Pat Cummins a go too.
