Why they droped Shakib?he is the best player of KKr right now.Great kalis gave 17 runs 1st over. KKR's management works in mysterious ways. Agree with this comment on cricinfo, Danish: "Kallis has to make up with the bat tonight. He's playing in place of the in-form Shakib who has done much better than him in all departments. I thought KKR made a wrong decision then, and I still do. But I sincerely hope that Kallis will prove me wrong."

Solid bowling effort from nearly everyone. Could have restricted them to an even lower total had Shakib played considering the spinners did really well.

19 needed off 24 balls. For people who don't know KKR brought in Morkel for Shakib and Piyush for Vinay. Both Morkel and Piyush did excellent today. thanks for the updates!

^ Everyone has his/her own team .It's best if you leave it to the team management. People here said Gambhir has to be dropped after few bad innings. Some said Uthappa should not be in the team...and so on. But these are the players doing the best now. These are too good players to write them off so easily. Let's watch the game, enjoy and hope for the best Same thing for Morkel too. He has been dangerous on his day and has been ordinary on other days. Bowlers like Amit Mishra and Ashwin went for 14/15 runs for over in some of the matches. The best of the bowlers like Steyn went for 24 runs in an over which cost them the match. We can't say they have to be dropped from their corrsponding teams because on their day they could be lethal. True, some commetns are clearly not right but I think those are times perhaps people speaking in the heat of the moment and not thinking straight after bad losses. But I think some are valid criticisms of management. Gambhir from past IPLs has proven himself so keeping him for longer was definitely right. Uthappa as well cause they hadn't really even used him properly yet but then you have someone like Pathan still in the team, i don't think he should still be given chances. One fifty isn't enough. And I do see people's point about Shakib today as well. He has doen really well for us both with bat and bowl, and it was a wicket good for spin, yet they leave him out? Doesn't make sense at all. Now I"m not saying bringing in Morkel in was wrong, not all, I'm very glad they did, I always thought Morkel did more good than bad and in fact my way I would have him in the team 90% of the time. But they could have brought Morkel in for Kallis or Ryan, instead of Shakib. So who he replaced didn't make sense. Luckily it didn't end up mattering for us. That doesn't make it a right decision though. Then there's stuff like hardly using Ryan as a bowler, or how weirdly they used Andre Russell in both matches he played. (First time as bowler was plain insulting frankly keeping him till the end like that, and second time as batsman promoting him like that also strange gamble). Also I don't claim to be an expert on cricket, but these are comments I've heard from actual cricket experts too, so clearly something is wrong.

Excellent win by KKR. They played excellent cricket with both bat and ball.
