Kinda addicted to watching Impractical Jokers on Comedy Central. Those guys are hilarious!. I absolutely LOVE that show The best part is how comfortable the guys are with each other. You can tell that they have been friends for a long long time and know everything about each other. At times it can be highly edited, but their chemistry is delightful Who is your favorite joker?

It has to be sal and Joe for me. Sal is always scared which can be quite cute and Joe just about does anything they tell him!.

Daredevil season 2 is off to a great start, though I've only seen two episodes at the moment. Anyone finished yet?

Watching The Newsroom on Amazon Prime video. The West Wing is my favorite TV show of all time and with Aaron Sorkin doing this one, I just had to check it out. Long time coming this. Brilliant show already and I am only one episode into it. Too early for me to post about it, but I had to post somewhere that I heard Jesse Eisenberg's voice in the first episode. I googled to confirm and yes, it is him!

Finished Daredevil season 2- brilliant! Loved the way they developed Frank Castle aka The Punisher and that whole storyline was great. Although second storyline (The Hand stuff) was not that great and I didn't care too much for the actress playing Electra, but overall the season had me interested throughout. And I really like Charlie Cox as Matt Murdoch/Daredevil, he gives a great performance just like in the first season. Probably the best superhero show on tv (though I know Netflix is online but just for sake of comparison). Hard to say if I liked it more than the first season but it's at least pretty close to it if not better. I have to say I like these Marvel netflix shows more than the marvel movies. (and yes it's probably cause they are more serious/dark but also I think they have better story and characters- particularly villains)

Lucifer season1- This has been the most surprising show for me this year. I only really saw it cause I heard it's also based on Vertigo comics (like iZombie which I loved as well) but I know nothing about the actual comics and the initial trailer for the show hadn't exactly interested me. But the show is brilliant, it's really funny which I didn't really expect but it's not a bad thing here. While it is a fairly procedural show, I didn't mind that too much. In many ways it does have stuff in common with izombie, being both are kinda police case of the week type shows but they also have pretty interesting arcs with the fantastical elements, the character development is excellent and the humour in both shows is really good. And both shows sounded lame when I first heard of them but turned out brilliant.

Anyone up-to-date with GoT It was a pleasant surprise to see them not drag out Jon Snow's expected ressurection for too long. And Ramsay is turning into something way more sinister than Joffery. His eventual death shall be enjoyed ..

yeah I was very happy and shocked.they didn't drag thst out. I really hate how they killed Roose Bolton though. .I feel it was too predictable, expected better. Have to agree about Roose. The only redeeming point is that, this is exactly how he killed Robb Stark at the red wedding - drew him close and stabbed him. So it is a bit of a "coming back a full circle" kind of thing
This was a really intense episode. It seems like now that the makers are not bound by the books, they are willing to ramp things up instead of waiting 4-5 episodes for build up. Really curious to see what the side effects will be for Jon Snow
Tyrion's dragon quest was a bit odd though. Why did the dragons not bite his head off? Are they really that intelligent that they can distinguish between friend and foe?

Was doing this exercise with a friend where we were trying to list our top 5 favorite non-Indian TV shows of all time. Proved to be incredibly difficult. Ultimately ended up splitting it into Drama and Comedy categories and listing 5 each for these ones. Mine are as follows. Would love to see what shows make your list
Drama 1. Breaking Bad 2. Sherlock 3. House of Cards 4. Game of Thrones 5. True Detective
Comedy 1. The Office (UK) 2. Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia 3. South Park 4. Arrested Development 5. Parks & Recreation / Friends

Heard it starts off slowly, that true? For the first 2-3 episodes it can be a bit slow. After that it picks up real fast and you will be gasping for breath LOL There is a lot of depth in the show. One of those rare drama shows which doesn't have too many filler scenes and every scene amounts to something. And the acting is top notch. You should definitely watch it. Just push through the first 2-3 episodes and then you will be hooked

Speaking of Breaking Bad, have you been watching Better Call Saul?
Another favourite show of mine just came back (finally!) - Person of Interest and what a great start to the last season.
Regarding the list, I don't watch a lot of comedies, so instead of drama and comedy, I'm going with a slightly different track, I'm going to split between heavy sci-fi/fantasy/superhero type and other drama, cause I just watch so many sci fi/fantasy stuff, that it would easily take up a whole list!
Sci-fi/ fantasy/superhero- sorta in order but could change 1. Doctor Who 2. Battlestar Galactica 3. Game of Thrones 4. Daredevil (at least so far) 5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Other drama again sorta in order 1. Person of Interest(ok this is a bit of a cheat as it's kinda sci fi, but it's more realistic, not heavy sci fi or fantasy like the above) 2. Sherlock 3. Breaking Bad 4. The Shield 5. Better Call Saul (could definitely move up though)
And there's so many more I love, it's very hard to pick just a few, especially in the scifi/fantasy/superhero category. And I'm only considering live action, otherwise all the dc animated shows would take up most of the spots lol.

Anyone else caught up with GoT ? Its been fairly dull last 3-4 episodes and most of the subplots are just going haywire imo. Something seems off !!

^Well this one was definitely action packed. That one scene at the end was probably one of the most satisfying ones in Game of Thrones

Last episode was brilliant. The battle scene was just too good, especially considering it was a TV show
Sansa is starting to annoy me

Another great episode to end the season and a few shocking moments. Definitely didn't expect Tommem, Margaery to die especially and having Cersei on the iron throne. And Jon as well being King in the North didn't really expect taht, I was expecting Sansa to be the one These last two episodes have definitely made up for the rest of the dismal season, and hopefully next season they will pace things better.

The last two episodes of GoT were absolutely amazing. I wish Sapochnik could direct every episode. Not possible though with the different locations and all that, but in the final season when everything moves in one direction, I hope he gets the larger share of the episodes if he's willing to take it.
{Spoiler} I was expecting Cersei to set things ablaze, but not like that. Wow. Didn't see it coming she'd become queen. Jon Snow becoming King of the North, Daenerys going to Westeros ...everything coming full circle.
And Jon is a Targaryen, after all.
Arya's small part was good too. Winter is here.

I was not expecting the last episode to trump the awesomeness of episode 9, but boy did they deliver. That was just superlative story telling, acting, direction, cinematography all over. Loving where this show is headed now. They came out of the rut they seemed to be falling into mid-season - and I am happy it was Cersei to set the ball rolling The way that Cersei sequence was orchestrated was just mind blowing. Destroying her enemies, all by herself. Tommen's death was a shocker though. I totally did not see that coming. Will not miss him at all (was too much of a wuss), but was still shocking
Loved that Arya is back to knocking people off her list again and finally her training is coming in handy
And Cersei-Jamie angle will be very very interesting now. They are going to fight for sure. They have to.
Only thing I am edgy about is, just how powerful Danny is now. But I guess you will need that for the "real war" that is coming, now that Winter is here
The one year wait will be excruciating

HBO's The Night Of Do yourself a favor and watch this show ASAP Amazing Thats next on the list for me .. finished Stranger Things. Was absolutely Fantastic !! Such a wholesome series --- Currently watching Mr. Robot. Not really digging it much - not a single likable character and the world its set in is supposed to be "realistic" but they overdid it.
