I don't think he did act improperly. His job is to protect SRK. When crowds get massive and unruly, some folks are bound to get pushed and shoved in the process. He wouldn't have been let go with no complaint if they thought he misbehaved. Some minor actress just saw a quick way to get her name in the news.

Shah Rukh Khan's first outing after his injuryRicha Shukla,TNN | Feb 1, 2014, 12.00 AM IST There was a moment's stunned silence, and a few women close by even gasped, as Shah Rukh Khan walked out of the Udaipur airport with a supporting crutch held in his left hand. Looking a bit tired, he had a woollen hairband on the head, and wore black trousers and a white shirt. This was perhaps SRK's first outing after he was hurt on the sets of Farah Khan's Happy New Year, when a door fell on him. The injury was such that he had been advised bedrest by the doctors, but guess this NRI wedding in Udaipur, for which he had come, was an event he was committed to attending. Twitter soon exploded with 'get well soon, SRK' messages, as this picture went viral. The actor attended the wedding reception held at Jag Mandir on Thursday evening. Many other stars also made it to the wedding functions of the NRI couple, Heena and Gaurav. Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Terence Lewis and Sonu Nigam were among those present at the sangeet ceremony hosted in Zanana Mahal of City Palace. The actors danced till the wee hours. Malaika and Karan, who were hosting the sangeet ceremony, reached the venue together. Johar wrote on a micro-blogging site, "Just landed in Udaipur for a friend's wedding!!! Lovely weather..." timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/news-interviews/Shah-Rukh-Khans-first-outing-after-his-injury/articleshow/29664708.cms

Friendship with Shah Rukh Khan not strained, says Juhi ChawlaPress Trust of India | Mumbai | February 12, 2014 3:01 pm Actress Juhi Chawla says there is “no strain” in her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan and that the superstar would be there for her whenever she needs him.
There have been reports of the two no longer being good friends. But, Juhi insists their friendship is strong, contrary to reports “It (friendship) is not strained or anything. With our growing lives, schedules we get busy. Like today Madhuri Dixit and I are working for a film because our work has brought us together. Then she will be busy with ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ and I will be busy with my work. How and when we will meet next we don’t know,” Juhi told PTI. “If I need something and I call Shah Rukh, I know I will get through him in an instant but I will not trouble him, because I know he is very busy, so I really need not take his time,” she said. Juhi wonders why their friendship is questioned often. “I feel why it should be? I think it should be left to individuals to decide whether they get along or not, whether there is a connect more than work or not, then you can be friends,” she said. The actress does not feel upset about the reported growing animosity between her and Shah Rukh. “I feel why it should be said (reported this way). There are friendships and there should be friendships among all,” she said. Shah Rukh and Juhi were seen as one of the best on screen pairs. According to Juhi, the secret behind their chemistry was the sparkling films that they were offered. She teamed up with the superstar in several movies, including ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’, ‘Darr’, ‘Duplicate’, ‘Yes Boss’ and others. Most of their films have been hit. indianexpress.com/article/entertainment/bollywood/friendship-with-shah-rukh-khan-not-strained-says-juhi-chawla/?SocialMedia

Vidya Balan finds Shah Rukh Khan very charmingRenuka Vyavahare,TNN | Feb 17, 2014, 12.00 AM IST Vidya Balan unabashedly admits that she finds Shah Rukh Khan very charming. Says she, "Amongst the married men, Shah Rukh is so charming." She adds, "He's not been a co-star but there's something about Shah Rukh. Also, he and my husband Siddharth Roy Kapur have the same initials and I get away with a lot because of that. When I went for the screening of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and he puts out his arms in the song Mitwa, for a minute I saw myself running to him! I remember I was young when the television show Fauji released but I knew my sister and her friends were crazy about him. At that point, I was going through the I-don't-like-boys phase, so I didn't like him. I actually fell in love with him when I saw Dil Se and that's not a film, a lot of people mention in context to SRK." The actress is sure SRK knows about her liking for him. "Of course, he knows. I think he has read about it and he keeps saying, 'Tum galat SRK ke saath chali gayi', to which I say, 'Par aap toh kahaan ghaas daal rahe the'. All of this is a joke," she concludes laughing. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/news-interviews/Vidya-Balan-finds-Shah-Rukh-Khan-very-charming/articleshow/30518147.cms

Conmen use Shah Rukh Khan’s Red chillies Mumbai - More than 300 wannabe artists collected at the Versova police station alleging that they were conned by people who claimed they were employees Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies production house. The complainants told police that they received a text message inviting them for auditions for a project. But when they appeared at the location, each one was asked to pay Rs3,000 [Dh178] as fee for the audition, reported Mid-Day. One of the aspirants was quoted as saying about 100 people in the queue paid the money, when they started calling girls inside and asked the men to stand outside. Another one of the aspirants – who is associated with a TV channel – called up Red Chillies to confirm. When they replied in the negative, he immediately alerted others and police. Meanwhile, a Red Chillies statement says they are glad a police investigation is underway. www.emirates247.com/crime/world/scholar-impregnates-13-year-old-2014-03-03-1.540195

Shah Rukh Khan says will never deride a brand he once endorsedBy Krishna Kumar, ET Bureau | 4 Mar, 2014, 04.52AM IST MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan said that he will never make fun of any brand he has once endorsed, taking a sideswipe at Amitabh Bachchan's recent 'poison' comment on Pepsi. "Having worked with someone, should I ever deride it? No. I have been an employee of someone," the film star said on Monday. Khan's comment comes just about a month after Bachchan said that he stopped endorsing Pepsi after a girl asked him why he was promoting something her teacher had termed as "poison". Speaking to ET at the sidelines of a brand event in Mumbai, Khan said, "People sometimes even question why we are endorsing XYZ product. My logic is, if it is legal, if it is available in the market, then there is nothing wrong in endorsing that particular product." At the same time, Shah Rukh Khan said that being a professional actor, he sees no issues with endorsing competing brands at different times. "I was endorsing the brand you just mentioned (Pepsi), now I endorse Sprite, and now I do Frooti. You have different considerations. The accountability of a celebrity is as much as you know about the product," Khan said. Did Shah Rukh Khan Upset Karan Johar?
Team MissMalini told you yesterday that Shah Rukh Khan was in his element at the Tag Heuer event, being a bit mean (but in a fun way) and cracking jokes on everyone. Punit Malhotra was one such person who was on the receiving end of a joke, as when he said that he wishes he had the superpower to be invisible, SRK quipped back with a, “After Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, you should be invisible.” The director laughed it off, but it looks like his producer, Karan Johar, was not that amused with the comment. Although it was said in a fun spirit, KJo, apparently, didn’t appreciate the comment. I’m told that the next day, he was heard expressing his displeasure to one of his closest friends at Dharma Productions. Things haven’t really gone back 100% to being the way they were between these two, which is perhaps why Karan took the remark personally. Whether he’ll hold on to it or get over it is something we’ll have to wait to see! www.missmalini.com/2014/03/05/shah-rukh-khan-upset-karan-johar/I expected that some of SRK's ''harsh'' comments at the event would create some headlines, but I doubt the truthfulness of this one.

Shah Rukh Khan to repay Rajinikanth This Sunday, Shah Rukh Khan will be in the city — to participate in the audio launch of Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan. Confirming the news, the film's director, Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin, said, "I called him (Shah Rukh) to come for the function, and he instantly agreed. He told me, 'It's like my film' and that he'll surely be there." It's well known that the Baadshah of Bollywood is a huge fan of Rajinikanth. While he roped in the Superstar to make a cameo appearance in RA. One, he performed a 'Thalaivar Tribute' (Lungi Dance) in his film, Chennai Express. At an audio listening session of the songs of the film, lyricist Vairamuthu revealed how Rajini initially refused to sing the Maattram Ondrudaan Maaraadhadhu number. "We (Rajini and I) had worked on the lyrics of this philosophical song for almost a week. We came up with hundreds of lines - that were a message to the audience. And then, once Rajini recited it, it gave the lines new life," he said. The lyricist added, "Rajini has a way with words — I feel that he should write dialogues for his next film. If he's willing, I will encourage him to do so." timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/tamil/movies/news-interviews/Shah-Rukh-Khan-to-repay-Rajinikanth/articleshow/31541213.cmsI know I the highly off-topic, but does someone know when Rajni's new movie comes out and if it will be a world wide release?

Anupham Kher: "Indian cinema is made for Indian audiences and it's not easy to do difficult or over-the-top scenes and yet to convince the 1 billion population. I think Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan can do what Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt can do, but I doubt whether they (Hollywood actors) can do something like 'Tujhe dekha to ye jaana sanam'." in.celebrity.yahoo.com/news/reduce-length-films-shabana-azmi-145612083.html

I for one don't agree with ANupam Kher, although I do like him very much, so not saying this as an insult. But I just disagree in this case. And I don't think these are new comments, I remember reading him saying this a few years back. ALthough perhaps he's just repeating the same thing. But i think Anupham Kher hasn't seen a lot of Hollywood musicals to say this. Maybe he should watch something like Mamma Mia. I never thought Meryl Streep could do something like that before but now wouldn't doubt her. just made me realise just cause an actor hasn't done something before, doesn't mean they can't. And hell, in hollywood musicals, the actors even sing.
And I'm not just saying this about hollywood, I think it works other way too- when I hear comments about certain bollywood actors not pulling off some hollwyood style things, I feel the same way. Many actors can be versatile.
