Shah Rukh Khan Starrers Still Hold Top Spots In UK, DHOOM 3 Breaks Records In Every Other Market
''Dhoom 3'' was the last release of 2013 and promised to end year on high. Film has surpassed all expectations and smashed every record possible. Film is on record breaking spree in overseas market. Film is rewriting the rulebook over there.
Film was benefited by good release period, increased ticket prices and big star. Film is now heading for all time records at box office be it lifetime or week one, this is a mammoth blockbuster. Film is already the biggest grosser in New Zealand and Australia and should come out as highest ever earning film in Pakistan, UAE and USA if it holds up well on similar levels in coming days.
But film failed to eclipse one market and that is UK. Where Shahrukh Khan still sits at the top with as much as 7 of his films in top 10. Salman has 2 and Aamir has 1 film there in top 10 table. Hrithik and Ranbir do not feature in the list. Shahrukh Khan starrers like KANK and MNIK are there on top despite being 6 years old.
