I own a Panasonic 50 inch Plasma Full HD TV with 3D. Plasma TVs provide more clarity, but consume more energy compared to normal LCD or LED TVs. For best quality, go for pure LED which is dame expensive. Please note that all cheaper so called LED TVs will be having only LCD panels with border LED.

I have to say, I own all three types - an LCD, LED, and Plasma(well my family does) and plasma is by far the best quality. Hands down.Though yes they do consume more power, but it's really worth it in my opinion if you watch a lot of HD stuff. The LED one we have is the worst out of the three- but it's probably the cheaper one that Navaneeth is talking about. Dont' know what pure LED looks like.

Qureshi, Ex: If Plasma 50 inch is about INR 70000 then Pure LED 50 inch will be around INR 125000 to 135000. Normal LED comes around 70-80k which is actually not a pure LED and you will suffer with the quality. Plasma is way ahead of normal LED.
