I have been doing alot of thinking over the past few weeks and I realize that my time here is done. I will miss everyone. You all may wonder why I'm leaving the forums after such a short time on here. let me explain. I have Aspergers Syndrome and I see this world so differently than most other people. This also includes how I see other people. To me, race, religion, status, etc. doesn't matter. What matters is that we are all human. I have been overwhelmed with sadness as I see all the sensationalist journalism that surrounds Shah Rukh. It has made this world a darker place knowing that there are people like that out there. I am not leveling this accusation at those on here by any means. People who have aspergers are often mistakenly thought to not have feelings. It is not that we lack feelings but rather that we don''t understand what to label those feelings as. In my heart Shah Rukh is an amazing person who doesn't deserve the treatment the media sometimes gives him.
I recall seeing the two part documentary that was done on Shah Rukh. I made it through "The Inner World of SRK" with no problems. I think I made it about a quarter of the way or less through "The Outer World of SRK, and I burst into tears. He works so hard and does everything with all his heart when underneath that he is exhausted and more than likely missing his family. I recall the one scene that made me unable to watch the documentary any further. The camera in the dressing room area is still shooting but there's nobody there except SRK. he's stretched out in like a small hallway or something because you can only see from his head to about his waist in the shot and he's sound asleep. My heart turned over and went straight out to him. I burst into tears at that sight and it hurt me so badly to think that the way the media sometimes treat SRK is similar to the way the media in North America treated Michael Jackson.
I will miss everyone on the Forums and it has been wonderful to learn a bit more about this incredible human being. But from here this is a journey I must take on my own. to all of you, I leave you with a final lesson from my favorite SRK film, My Name is Khan. The overall lesson of this film is about overcoming your anger, fear, hatred and other negative emotions when they threaten to overwhelm you. Remember, these are powerful emotions, but ultimately Love not as we humans would label it, but pure strong universal LOVE is the stronger force in this world.
To all the fans and moderators on the forums,
OM SHANTI! Be Safe, Be Well.
