Nice, Aamir Khan is definitely my favourite BW star after SRK so I'm always excited for another movie. Hope he has learned from Thugs of Hindustan and won't do dumb s*** like that anymore (he was probably expecting another Dhoom 3 esque success). Aamir usually delivers so I trust him.

Meh, here we go again
Giving his "method" acting bytes. He has literally redefined method acting and limited it to growing hair/ gaining and losing weight.

Meh, here we go again Giving his "method" acting bytes. He has literally redefined method acting and limited it to growing hair/ gaining and losing weight. Lol, his definition may be a bit limited (and only done for marketing) but overall you have to admit that he is at least a smart star, for the most part. He has carefully crafted his "perfectionist" image which usually promises content driven movies that appeal to the masses. Thugs was an unexpected failure (he probably expected another Dhoom 3 situation) but Aamir has had overall a fantastic decade.

AK is one actor who never ever impressed me. I may have been in 6th grade when his film "Dil" with Madhuri had released and girls in my class were crazy about him and I never understood what for. I rarely see his films and if I do, I really have to tolerate his presence. I like his films Andaz Apna Apna and Lagaan (that is it) and he in no way is the reason for it. I always found his performance rehearsed and fake. What he is doing next generates no interest in me. I will always put Salman one level up than AK.

Yes, he played his cards well post Lagaan to create that perception backed with mostly good scripts and with Raju Hirani's aashirwaad

Actually I used to like Aamir in 90s and he was very good actor I like him in jjws, dil hai k manta nahi, aaa, rangeela and Sarfarosh. But post Lagan he looks fake though most of his movies turned good but as an actor he is unbearable except dangal, rdb and 3 idiots. People think changing looks, hair style and unusual name like fansook bangdoo, mallah etc is term as a good actor.

I have never really liked Aamir, just doesn't have the screen presence to interest me. While his over-rehearsed way is just plain jarring, I think Hrithik's for instance is far worse. But there have been movies where I have absolutely loved him and his performance, DCH comes to mind right away. Having said all that, I am so not interested in what he does next or whatever. I still haven't seen Dangal or PK, so there's that.

For me the opposite, Salman has been always been the weakest Khan from the 3 by far. Mostly because he takes the lazy & low effort way out with generic action crap (since 2010) or lame comedies (2000's) while Aamir and especially SRK have much more variety imho, they challenge themselves and have proven they are great actors. Yet Salman is currently the most popular one with so many undeserved blockbusters since Dabaang that I lost count. I hope Race 3 is the start of his decline.

Mostly because he takes the lazy & safe way out with generic action crap (since 2010) or comedies (2000's) while Aamir and especially SRK have much more variety imho and have proven they can be great actors. Yet he is currently the most popular one with so many undeserved blockbusters since Dabaang that I lost count. I did not clarify, I never meant Salman is a better actor, no way, he has been sleep walking through his films for a long time now. I meant as compared to AK in terms of tolerability, I would prefer Salman over AK any day. I missed adding Sarfarosh to my list of AK's films I like.

Salman does have more potential as an actor, movies like Tere naam show that but as long as he is rewarded for bad action/comedy movies I doubt he will ever try harder. And yeah Sarfarosh was really good.

He is also the only actor with 3 ATB in a row..I doubt that will be beaten any time soon. But overall SRK is still Nr.1 for me, mostly because of the 90's-2000's. Aamir is still Nr.2 in my book, vastly prefer him to the younger actors like Ranveer, Ranbir, Varun etc. who while good don't have that presence that Aamir has. He is a very commited actor and since Lagaan his movies have been mostly great.

Thank you very much His disappearance after other actor's flops is even funnier. He was nowhere to be found after Race 3 and Thugs flopped.

Sorry but I have zero care for those figures. I know I did not contribute to those. His film can make all the money in the world, it would mean nothing to me. I am not watching.
