Maybe the kids are finally arriving.
Simbaa might have changed Ranveer's fortunes. Two back to back blockbusters with two diametrically opposite movies, along with critical acclaim. And his next 3 projects are extremely promising and if done right could finally push him into the race for the top.
-
Gully Boy could connect big time with the youth
- In
Kabir Khan's '83 he will play Kapil Dev - this could be brilliant depending on which Kabir Khan shows up - NewYork/Bajrangi one or Tubelight/Phanton one
- Dharma's Multistarrer
Kalank with Alia, Varun, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri, etc. based on the Mughal period
Unless the director's fudge it up, the above 3 are going to either pull in massive numbers or critical acclaim (or both) for Ranveer

Ranbir's projects are equally interesting but riskier.
Ayan's
Brahmastra - Bollywood based Superhero movies are risky in India. But I have a feeling, Ayan Mukherjee might nail it - he has a connect with the youth. Plus we have Alia and BigB for company
- Karan Malhotra's
Shamshera is another risky one. Period film where he is a dacoit fighting the British. But Karan is capable of making a gritty action movie as he showed with Agneepath.
- Luv Ranjan's rom com. Dont know much on this one
