I have watched the trailers of URI, The Accidental Prime Minister, Cheat India, Manikarnika, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Sonchiriya, Gully Boy. Though I stopped having any sort of expectations just after watching the trailer long back, among the above I am curious about Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Others are looking good too. I will be watching URI & The Accidental Prime Minister this week end ( coincidentally both seem to be election propaganda , could be good though). Haha. We are getting a spate of political movies all of a sudden right before the elections ... Uri and Accidental PM are followed by Thackeray the week after. And apparently there is some Modi biopic in the offing with Vivek Oberoi playing Modi (the trailer looks really bad though)

LOL It will continue for the next 3-4 months. Ranveer, Ranbir, Alia, Raj Kumar Rao, Ayyushman, Varun Dhawan and more "young super stars" along with Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty met with Modi and Karan has put up a selfie on his twitter account talking about "change". I think it means a lot for both movies and politics in the near future. Oh yes, I saw that. When their movies are "banned" they are all for lets keep politics out of movies and art. And then they just go ahead and participate in such a political activity when the elections are around. Funny... kind of

It is also possible this meetup was only done to compensate for the one that happened last time, where not a single woman was invited. Because how many times do you need to meet to discuss/thank for the same topic (GST on movie watching)

I like Anil Kapoor and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga looks interesting. Anil K is always good, even in bad movies like Mubarkan.

None... zero interest. They all look crap.
The only one that might be interesting is Bhramastra because Ayan and Ranbir together might be good.

^ Oh, taboo topic? Care to elaborate? I didn't know anything else about the film, and the trailer looks like, well, any other trailer really.

^ Oh, taboo topic? Care to elaborate? I didn't know anything else about the film, and the trailer looks like, well, any other trailer really. From what I gathered from the trailer, Sonam is in a relationship with a woman, whilst her family are trying to find a suitable match for her. Looks like it potentially be an interesting movie.

Also looking forward to the SRK produced Badla with Amitabh & Tapsee. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, it should be a good suspense thriller. In the last couple of years, some small unknown movies did surprise me pleasantly. Tumbbad and Gali Guleiyan did the same in 2018. I just edited my list to include this movie lol. Don't care for AB, but I'm starting to like Taapsee as I'm currently watching Manmarziyan.

It could turn out to be a good movie for Salman. It likely will be. Ali Abbas Zafar makes solid movies with Salman, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai were certainly better than almost every other movie (apart from Bajrangi Bhaijaan) he made in this decade. It also seems like Kick 2 was scrapped, thank god

I can't name a single movie that I'd super excited for. But I'll probably end up watching Bharat, Brahmastra, Kalank and that Tiger vs Hrithik movie.

Looking forward to Gully Boy and Brahmastra. And that amitabh and tapasee movie produced by red chillies. Becoming a tapasee fan gradually. She has been excellent in the 3 movies i have seen her in. Could have been on the top if she had a god father or was a star kid
Kalank is interesting because of the star cast. But a drama set during partition is risky. Could go either way
