Salman Khan to start shooting for Veteran in 2020 by Vedanshi Pathak | May 8, 2019, 5:34 PM IST Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani are currently gearing up for the release of Bharat which hits the theatres on June 5 this year. It has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. Bharat is the Hindi remake of Korean film Ode To My Father and the producer is set to make a Hindi remake of another Korean film Veteran, that too starring Salman. Talking about Veteran, Atul told a leading daily, “I saw the film and I liked it. I thought it is an opportunity to make it with him. It is a class film. I showed him the film and he felt the same. Salman has given a go ahead. He will play the detective in the film.” He further added, “Adaptation are never literal, adaptations are always a starting point. After that, you blend it according to the sensibilities of the audience. It will have many big things, I have to make it bigger and larger as the expectations are huge every time Salman does a film. Confirmed: Salman Khan to star in Hindi remake of Korean film Veteran After Bharat, Dabangg 3 and Inshallah, Salman Khan has confirmed that he will also star in the Hindi adaptation of the Korean film Veteran. The actor has been currently busy in promoting his home production film Notebook. Mumbai March 25, 2019 UPDATED: March 25, 2019 12:06 IST Superstar Salman Khan has confirmed that he will be starring in the Hindi adaptation of another hit Korean film, Veteran. The actor, who is currently awaiting the release of Bharat, said his brother-in-law, actor-producer Atul Agnihotri, has acquired the rights of Veteran. The 2015 Korean film revolves around a detective, who hunts down a young and successful man running a crime syndicate. "I am doing Veteran. Atul has the rights. It's a nice film. We will do this film after Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film," Salman said to PTI in Mumbai. The 53-year-old superstar will start working on the third installment of Dabangg, followed by Bhansali's Inshallah, that will see him teaming up with Alia Bhatt for the first time.
