No, I would have put the link to the interview or whatever where he said it.
It was a quote posted by a Twitter fan account which didn't give a source either writing that it's a quote from SRK.

His quote may be true however what I see in the Indian people is STK has left a love where no matter how advanced in film they become and of course SRK will grow older and roles will not be appropriate but his character has left a positive feeling in all. I only hope he finds peace in himself and remember you’ve been loved by so many people for not only your films by your talks of peace and love
