Very good all round performance. Good strategy to play with 2 specialist spinner narine and kuldeep and 3 fast bowlers. Rana is also there as a third spinner but part time just to fill one or two over. I would say prasidh Krishna is better bowler especially in depth over. Captain and coach should warn uthappa for playing those careless shot. He got out with similar fashion on no of time in this ipl. It is ok for narine but not for uthappa as he is specialist and responsible batsman

Prasidh is just not ready for this stage. Mavi at least has good pace, and is a good fielder. Prasidh doesn't seem to be either. Narine is proving to be more than a worthy buy. Top wicket taker, top 5 run getter, top strike rate. What next - flying catches Robin Uthappa needs to value his wicket more than he has been of late. Such a top player of this format, and throwing his wicket away pretty much each time. Still in two minds about Chris Lynn. I don't watch much cricket now so I wasn't aware of his existence until this IPL, but this guys is supposedly a "big striker" of the ball. Haven't seen anything like that this season. Finally DK. Again, my only cricket exposure nowadays is IPL, so I am very surprised to see how he has evolved as a player from more than half a decade ago, when his inclusion in the squad would be a major surprise for me.

A RCBS loss today will comfortably take us to top four. 🤞

Seems like RCB gonna win today with big margin. It's turning out to be interesting fight between 5 teams. I wish CSK looses tomorrow against DD with another big margin, and KKR moving to top two.

LOL. Wishful thinking. RCB and MI parking at the right time, and have tremendous momentum.

^ I agree about MI. Not RCB, who have mostly been a one-man team this tournament. If AB fires, they win. If not, doomed.
So, CSK losing today.... does it almost guarantee us a playoff spot?

Nice. Hopefully we will make the playoffs and not then face our nemesis MI at all.

What a brilliant game from KKR. Almost everything we tried worked, including Prasidh doing well. A neatly calculated chase setup initially by a brilliant stranglehold from the spinners.

Well played. Wins is always better than run rate.
Amazing how KKR, CSK and SRH have only one win separating them. Shows how well KKR have played compared to the "top" teams.

Really happy how the team spirit came back after a short low. Happy for the players, the coaches and the other responsible that they reached the Playoffs despite the cries of the naysayers after the auction. Now it would be gorgeous if they get the cup

Good win. Happy to see cris Lynn back in form and playing with confidence though he had scored reasonably well throughout the tournament but yesterday he was middling very well. Everyone carried out their role perfectly in last three game and that is good sign for a team

Amazing how KKR, CSK and SRH have only one win separating them. Shows how well KKR have played compared to the "top" teams. Agreed. Although, to be fair, SRH is the ONLY team I would call a "top" team. CSK not so much. But once you get to the playoffs, CSK go into beast mode. They will be the one to beat.

Yea the playoffs and finals are unfair to anyone not CSK 😀 Three more games to go for KKR. Question is how far.

So we now got to play RR in the Eliminator. Will be interesting. They step up during this phase too.

Not yet. Not yet. KXIP can still make it to the playoffs. I really really hope not. RR is much easier to beat, they don't have the Gayle ex-factor. Especially if their English players will be going back home soon.

Good news for KKR : The Eliminator match against RR and the 2nd Qualifier match both will be played at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. That definitely IS good news. Now for Dre Russ to come to the party.

RR is too much dependent on Tripati, if we can remove him early, its half match won

Oh wow. SRH is really stepping it up. I would have preferred CSK win this so our path to finals is easier, but well.

All our middle order (Uthappa, Rana, Gill and Dre) are due for big scoring. 🤞

I guess RR gameplan is simple, bat first and go after KKR bowlers as they have nothing to loose.

RR have started really well. Gotta get a cluster of wickets now to get back in the game. Narine and Kuldeep gotta weave their magic.

^ Old faithful you! I don't have as much faith, to be honest. There are no sparks of magic in the bowling.

Shocking how many times I have seen it this season. Terrible umpiring. Chawla gets Samson off a no-ball. I reckon his backfoot cut the side line.

Spinners will do it for KKR Well done my man! Brilliant strangle in the end from KKR. Facing SRH will be a much tougher proposition for them. But, they should be able to handle Shakib and Rashid much better than RR's spinners. Well played KKR. No matter how it ends, excellent overall season!

I had no hope when Rr were batting but somehow we won all thanks to the death bowling. .Looking forward to next match.
