I don't even like Germany, but I hope they us all a favour and send this cheating and unattractive Brazil out of the tournament. They are a disgrace for football.

I dint catch the game today .. what cheating ??
Brazil has been pretty decent so far as far as on-field behaviour is concerned. I see Cesar even got a yellow card / penalty

Columbia actually caused more damage. That one tackle fractured Neymars back and yes now out of the world cup. Very big loss for Brazil as he was probably their best player. Plus they are also now missing Silva in the semi as he got his second yellow card today, though that is his own fault, but still bad for Brazil.
Also I think Brazil were easily the better team today. Columbia just couldnt attack at all as Brazil was defending very well. It was actually quite a dull match because of that as Columbia never looked like they were getting back in the game after being 1-0 so early. And then after 2-nil from that amazing free kick by Luiz, it looked all over. Even the one goal they did get was from a penalty caused by Brazils own stupidity, a totally needless foul when they were 2 nil up.
I haven't seen any real cheating from Brazil this world cup, of course there are fouls but not really any more than all the other teams and nothing that really changed the outcome. The only game they perhaps won undeservedly was the very first game due to ref giving that incorrect penalty, that game maybe should have been a tie. But all the others, they've won fair and square.
On another unrelated note, I realise, one team I've sort of ignored in comments is Argentina, because all their matches seemed to be at bad times for me so I couldn't see them. But I like Messi a lot, so that's another team I would be happy to see win the cup. I think from now on, I would actually be happy with pretty much anyone winning, all the teams I didn't want to win are already out.

Far out, neymar's out for the rest of the world cup and thiago silva's suspended for the semi-final. Their two best players. Kaka and Lucas, who weren't called up, might have been useful replacements for Neymar.

This whole cheating talk - uff - for sure it didn't happen yesterday. I am so sad for Neymar - poor boy!!! And that referee was just a disgrace!! What an idiot! That's not football what we saw here. I mean 52 fouls in one match??? Seriously???

There's some amazing attacking by dutch and defense by Cista Rica going on. Such a nailbiter. End of 90 minutes especially was soo tense.

Netherlands win on penalties. Im a bit sad for Costa Rica but the Dutch did deserve to win I think as they had a couple of very unlucky goal misses with the ball hitting the posts. And they clearly had better attack and possession. Great game though!

Did you all see this tweet? George R.R. Martin @grrm: Spoiler Alert! I wrote the script for this World Cup game. [Note for those who don't know: GRRM wrote Game of Thrones, known for its high body count. ]

Scolari pays for his arrogance. Simply put Brazil were awful defensively. No organization. No leadership. No pressure on the ball ...NO Thiago Silva! Tactically he was inept. The german 3 in the middle were p***ing all over the Brazilian 2, should of adjusted and brought on Ramires as soon as they went 1 down. Also Felipe Luis, Miranda, Coutinho, Lucas Moura not even called up wtf ...for god's sake even Ronaldinho would of offered more then some of the clowns he selected. I hope Neymar realizes that his injury was a blessing in disguise. God saved him from today’s embarrassment. Barbosa was hunted since WC 1950 till his death ...some of those players will not be able to set a foot in Brazil anymore, especially Fred. The 1982 disaster changed the Brazilian football for good, tonight's result will revert them back to pre-1990 when their football was enjoyable. They moved from Romario & Ronaldo to Fred which says it all about Brazil If Scolari knows what's good for him, he will step down.

Can't believe the score-line. Looks like the loss of Neymar and Silva made a big difference. Missed the match so going to watch the replay. Scolari pays for his arrogance. Felipe Luis and Miranda, who were great for Atletico Madrid, would have been better defensive options than Luiz/Dante and Marcelo.

Well - like someone said on twitter yesterday. Brazil has Neymar, Portugal has Ronaldo, Argentina has Messi - Germany has a team. That is the difference.
I am happy for Germany but it was really not nice to watch. Until 0:4 for Brazil I was dancing and screaming - but after that - sad to watch something like this.
But now I wish for Germany vs. Netherlands!!

^I have to admit I do feel the same - even if I supported the Netherlands. This match was so boring yesterday - I gave up after 20 minutes in the second half. So now I don't have any conflict in me - I want Germany to win this!!!

LOL .. its the opposite for me. Robben has impressed me even more. The guy is a workhorse. Was running at almost 100% even during extra time. And still putting his all to create chances despite a lacklustre Persi. And boy is he fast with his runs. Maybe he does a few dramatic dives, but its not like he is the only one. Delight to watch.
I admire Messi a lot too and wouldn't mind him lifting the cup. But Arg is too dependant on him

Feel bad for Brazil, another humiliating loss, though in this case, I though Brazil was incredibly unlucky and the referring down right pathetic, it was like the ref was totally against Brazil. I think Brazil probably hsould have had a couple of penalties, especially when Oscar was clearly tripped inside the D, but the ref awarded Oscar a yellow card. WTH was that all about. And that one penalty to Netherlands also should have been a free kick, not penalty as the tackle was outside the D even if the player fell into the D. Plusthe first Netherlands goal was also iffy due to possibly another player being offside.
At least these two last games totally shut up those who think refereeing is rigged for Brazil to win World cup.

The referee screwed Holland just as much as Brazil. 2 clear red cards not given against Thiago Silva (2nd min)/Hernanes (beginning of 2nd half). Brazil fans have no right to cry about the ref lol. This brazil team was just pathetic, even South Korea were better than this in 2002.

^I didn't see those as I missed start of both halfs but didnt' hear much said about them later so can't have been that bad frankly. Actually I didn't even see first half, I ony heard some of this from my parents and commentators. But that makes the referring even more pathetic then if it's true.
Also, no offense, but everything you say is taken with a grain of salt for me as you've been bashing Brazil since start. I would rather listen to neutrals like my parents.

Saw most of the final live but unfortunately missed the part with the goal due to work but damn thst was a close game. I expected Germany to win though would have preferred Argentina a bit more. Surprised no one commented in here yet. Did every one suddenly lose interest right at the last game lol

I was out and missed it but watched the replay later on. Wasn't too exciting to watch (as with nearly all of Argentina's games) but Germany deserved the win.
Messi won the player of the tournament award (fifa favoritism perhaps) which I don't think he deserved. He was quite average in the last 3 games.
