Bajrangi Bhaijaan - 9/10One of Salman Khan's best ever movies. That kid is one of the cutest kids we have had in hindi cinema ever. Emotional, sweet, funny and engaging. Nawazuddin Siddiqui was excellent, this is probably only the second or maybe even the first movie of his that I have seen. He is very good. Can't wait for Raees. Nawaz is one actor i rate very highly along with Irfann and SRK. SRK has the edge over both as actually has a lot more charisma and screen presence in him but actingwise all three are at par. Regarding Bhaijaan Bajranji if you go to the thread belonging to the movie you will know that actually Salamn quite rightly downplayed his character which actually made his character look like a real genuine one. My rating for Bhaijaan Bajrangi is 7.5/10

I don't know where should I talk about it here. But guess I'm super late with this one...So the soundtrack of Lootera is stolen from the movie One Day!. I was watching One Day the other night and was like shocked!! And I was going gaga about this melody when I watched Lootera at first!! Such a shame...

I just ran away from seeing that song with Kareena's funny expressions and the supposed 'gritty' fight in between . Good for you for watching it all!

Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2
I hadn't actually heard of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 before or even seen the first one. I was just looking for something to watch the other night and this movie came up as one of the recent Bollywood releases doing well at the moment so I ended up watching it and actually really liked it. Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is not your typical modern day, over the top Bollywood love story. This movie actually had a decent storyline and the script had a natural feel to it as well. I found the movie to be quite funny and entertaining. I would recommend it to anyone looking to see a different type of Bollywood rom-com. I thought the actors who played Chauka, Gogo and Chiku did a decent job with their performances. Chauka was probably my favourite and just now I found out that he actually played the child actor in English Babu Desi Mem. Crazy to see all these child actors from back in the day starring in their own movies now. Even though Chauka's character is not in the first one, I think I'm going to watch that one as well just because I enjoyed the second one so much.

Stanley ka Dabba - 9/10, such a sad but heartwarming story. The kid who played Stanley had such a great performance.

^ It was so bad even Irrfan had a few terrible scenes. Remember that one in the rail yard where he starts kicking things randomly because Aishwarya had not told him about what's happening?

^ Irrfan was terrible... I noticed that there is no middle ground for Irrfan, In his films/roles he is either outstanding or embarrassing bad, and Aishwarya was just laughable.

Saw two movies today: Partner(2007) -- Rating 2/10 and second one Manjhi - the Mountain Man -- Rating 8/10
Both movies were like poles apart. Partner was just a waste of time and on the other hand Manji was a class movie it was quite close to Swadesh(SRK movie) I would recomend this movie to the lovers of Classic cinema and the ones who liked Swadesh will definitely love this one. Nawaz as usual impressed me again and has jumped ahead of Irrfan in my list of good actors.

Piku - 9.5/10
The best hindi movie of the year for me. We know Amitabh Bachchan is a rockstar and he is unbelievably good in the movie. There is not another actor in the country that could have played Bhaskor any better. We know Irfan Khan is a rockstar and he is brilliant here too. But how in the world did Deepika get to be so good????? Breathtaking how far she has come since her wooden Love Aaj Kal days. Way to go. And how far has Bollywood come, this is such skillful storytelling. I am blown away. I have gotta watch Finding Fanny now.

Talvar - 9/10
Totally engrossing. It was a bit hard to watch but my God how FABULOUS was Irfan Khan in the movie. Absolutely loved him especially in the end with the opposing team. That scene is gold.

Jazbaa - 4/10 Decent concept but shoddy execution and below par acting. ^ Irrfan was terrible... I noticed that there is no middle ground for Irrfan, In his films/roles he is either outstanding or embarrassing bad, and Aishwarya was just laughable. Irrfan was alright, at least not OTT like Aishwarya. The scene at the train station, in particular, where she sees her daughter and starts screaming and running was just cringe worthy and unintentionally funny haha. One of the worst pieces of acting I've ever seen. lol.

Aishwarya is a beautiful woman but acting is not her forte... lets see if Karan Johar manages to make her at least watchable in his next.
